This came out of the recent SPARKS new writing workshop, run by the BBC Radio Drama department. Eight writers new to radio were teamed up with producers and had an hour to make each piece. This piece, which draws on a text by Ambrose Bierce was produced by Jeremy Mortimer.

Dark Humour
Fantastic dark humour resulting in a prisoner effectively having to commit suicide due to a malfunction in the electric chair. Almost uncomfortably funny, whilst raising genuine topics of debate.
