This came out of the recent SPARKS new writing workshop, run by the BBC Radio Drama department. Eight writers new to radio were teamed up with producers and had an hour to make each piece.

Internal Monologue
A very true to life depiction of the awkwardness of approaching somebody you don't know. Great use of sound effects and the mum on the phone to maximise the embarrassment factor.
