Lest We Forget

This short piece for radio was produced as part of my final year at York St. John's University studying Performance: Theatre with only a small digital voice recorder. It contains fragments of memories from people who formed the once strong sense of community in Houghton-on-the-Hill, Leicestershire. This was my first experience working with and editing audio so far but hopefully not my last! Thank you for listening.

Lest We Forget

I really enjoyed this - some great stories. I particularly liked the tour of the village in horse-drawn carriage by the centenarian, and the account of how the local policeman fixed a scramble track.

Thank you very much for your comment, any constructive critism would be very helpful as it is my goal to achieve a career as a broadcast journalist or radio actor perhaps. Either way thank you very much for listening.
