My impressions

Hi.

I have spent a while looking through the site, Thanks for sending me the link, it looks great. Whilst I do not currently have my speakers connected to the PC, I can see me popping back in to check out the drama online, I'm pretty much addicted to audio drama and It will be interesting to see how this site develops other users skills.

There are only two problems I can see, firstly I am unable to comment on some of the users' blog posts, and secondly, I cannot post items to some of the topics on the forum as they are locked.

Apart from those, the site is great, it looks good and is easy to navigate.

What software are you using to power the site? I wonder if you would be able to plug in a live feed via Rivendell too, possibly using ices as we discussed? Potentially at the very least, you might be able to pump out the Now & Next information although I am not sure exactly how relevant that would be from within this context.

Another thing that could be really useful is being able to catch the latest audio files that are being uploaded, perhaps via RSS, and use RDCatch to bring them directly into Rivendell.

Anyway, just some thoughts. Well done!

Thanks for the comments

Thanks for the comments gareth, this is being powered by drupal which has a station module, to allow you to grab the stream from a radio broadcast etc. It was part of the reason i chose this CMS in the first place, it can be configured to work with ices or similar and was on my list of things to do for the radio portal
