2007: The nation is breaking down. Unable to make their mark in the world, millions are quietly imploding. Between the hours of 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, the population wishes the time away. Bored, frustrated and invariably hung over they live in fear, that come the weekend, somebody might ask them: "What do you do?"

This short piece for radio was produced as part of my final year at York St. John's University studying Performance: Theatre with only a small digital voice recorder. It contains fragments of memories from people who formed the once strong sense of community in Houghton-on-the-Hill, Leicestershire. This was my first experience working with and editing audio so far but hopefully not my last! Thank you for listening.

Danny just can't find what he wants to listen to. In a desparate search for the right radio station he encounters a muddled bricolage of audio material which, when pieced together, creates a hilarious narrative.
