Sharleen Gordon - If you've done nothing wrong

Here I wanted an argument to be raised when a character talks about a shop murder, and the advantage of cctvs. Here the other character disagrees with what is being said, and talks of the disadvantages that cctvs have, and although his views are so negative they are also valid. In relation to this character being against cctvs, there is a twist at the end.

Rob Watson - iPhone Experiment 01 - The Train

An experiment using using an iPhone to record an audio piece. Using the 4Tracks application a background soundscape was recorded using the built-in microphone to a pair of Senheiser headphones. The monologue was based on observations noted at the time, then recorded in a quiet room and 'mixed' via the 4Tracks app. No processing or manipulation of the file was undertaken, except to add a fade in and out. This was done in ProTools 8 and the file converted to an mp3 in Adobe Audition 1.5.

Rob Watson - iPhone Experiment 02 - Maryland

The second of my iPhone experiments. Again I've made no effort to change the audio, other than that which is possible on 4Tracks. It has the feel of something very rough and ready.

Rob Watson - Sandy Lane

My aim is to produce at least one short piece each day. Not being a performer or a creative writer the experience is interesting. I hope the images give a sense of what Sandy Lane was like tonight, and how I put the peice together using ProTools - sitting on my bed. Again, the only processing is a fade at the top and the tail, and two tracks recorded seperately on an Edirol R-09.
